LST has a strong lifeskills program which is personalised to each individual. This includes the following skills:

  1. Cooking and baking programs: Become a culinary master through our weekly cooking nights at our equip HUB and baking day programs.
  2. General Cleaning: Learn basic cleaning skills around a house or office environment.
  3. Social Skills: Learn and develop your communication and social ques with us in real life training through speech and connection.
  4. Selfcare and hygiene: Develop and maintain your personal hygiene skills.
  5. Life Savings Training: Learn money management skills. Through our life skills program you can build your money skills with this added training program.

2. Healthy Habits

LST has partnered with local businesses to provide healthy habits through various physical activities and nutrition. We are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle, and our tailored Healthy Habits program aims to keep our community engaged in physical activity while fostering nutritious eating habits. Making healthy lifestyle fun and interactive with our friends.

3. Independent Living Training

Independent Living Training (ILT) focuses on empowering individuals to achieve greater autonomy and self-sufficiency. Our approach begins with crafting a personalized plan tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of each participant, developed collaboratively with their support team. By prioritizing individual goals and providing targeted support, ILT equips participants with the skills and resources necessary to thrive independently.
